Beef Tacos

Beef Tacos - Mexican Food Recipe

Ingredients for Beef Taco recipe:

* 2 lbs ground beef (Extra Lean)
* 2 teaspoons Lawry’s seasoning Salt
* 2 tablespoons Chili powder
* 1 teaspoon Cumin
* 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or 2 cloves
* 1/2 diced Bell pepper
* 1/2 diced medium Onion
* 12 corn tortillas

Instructions for Beef Taco recipe:

In 3 quart sauce pan add ground beef, salt, chili powder, garlic, cumin and enough water to cover meat. Bring to a boil. Simmer over medium low heat about an hour. Then add 1/2 medium chopped onion, 1/2 medium chopped bell pepper continue cooking 20 or 30 more minutes.

Soft beef Tacos: Heat oil in skillet. Cook corn tortillas, one at a time, in hot oil until soft, about 10 to 15 seconds; drain.

Spoon 2 Tablespoons of the beef taco meat in center of each tortilla. Fold tortilla over meat; or roll up like an enchilada.

Garnish with tomato, lettuce, and cheese. Topped with sour cream and guacamole would be great. Rice and refried beans would complete the plate. Serving Artisian Sunset Salsa TM on the side.


Beef Burritos

Ingredients for Beef Burrito recipe:

* 2 lbs ground beef (Extra Lean)
* 2 teaspoons Lawry’s seasoning Salt
* 2 tablespoons Chili powder
* 1 teaspoon Cumin
* 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or 2 cloves
* 1/2 diced Bell pepper
* 1/2 diced medium Onion
* Flour Tortillas

Instructions for Beef Burrito recipe:
In 2 quart sauce pan add ground beef, salt, chili powder, garlic, and cumin. Enough water to cover meat. Bring to a boil. Simmer over medium low heat about an hour.
Then add 1/2 medium chopped onion, 1/2 medium chopped bell pepper continue cooking 20 or 30 more minutes.

Heat flour tortilla on hot griddle are macro-wave 1 or 2-appormately 10 seconds 10 or 12-one minute.

Spoon about 2 or 3 tablespoons of beef evenly down center of each tortilla; sprinkle evenly with cheese. Roll up tortilla.

Serve with sour cream and Artisian Sunset Salsa TM, if desired. Optional: Top each serving with lettuce, tomato, and avocado.


Beef Tostadas

Ingredients for Beef Tostadas recipe:

* 2 lbs ground beef (Extra Lean)
* 2 teaspoons Lawry’s seasoning Salt
* 2 tablespoons Chili powder
* 1 teaspoon Cumin
* 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or 2 cloves
* 1/2 diced Bell pepper
* 1/2 diced medium Onion
* 12 tostada shells
* 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions for Beef Tostadas recipe:
In 3 quart sauce pan add ground beef, salt, chili powder, garlic, cumin and enough water to cover meat. Bring to a boil. Simmer over medium low heat about an hour. Then add 1/2 medium chopped onion, 1/2 medium chopped bell pepper continue cooking 20 or 30 more minutes.

Spoon 2 Tablespoons of the beef on center of each tostada shell.

* 2 teaspoons Lawry’s seasoning Salt
* 2 tablespoons Chili powder
* 1 teaspoon Cumin
* 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or 2 cloves
* 1/2 diced Bell pepper
* 1/2 diced medium Onion
* 12 corn tortillas

Instructions for Beef Enchiladas recipe:
In 3 quart sauce pan add ground beef, salt, chili power, garlic and cumin. Enough water to cover meat. Bring to a boil. Simmer over medium low heat about an hour. Then add 1/2 medium chopped onion, 1/2 medium chopped bell pepper continue cooking 20 or 30 more minutes.

Heat oil in skillet, on medium high heat cook corn tortillas, one at a time, in hot oil until soft, about 5 or 10 seconds; drain.

Set the tortillas aside, stacking like domino's to prevent drying, until cool enough to touch. Add 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in center of each tortilla using slotted spoon, roll up, serving 2 or 3 to a plate.

Garnish with tomato, lettuce, and cheese. Topped with sour cream and guacamole would be great. Rice and refried beans would complete the plate. Serving Artisian Sunset Salsa TM on the side.

* 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or 2 cloves
* 1/2 diced Bell pepper
* 1/2 diced medium Onion
* 12 corn tortillas

Instructions for Beef Taquitos recipe:
In 2 quart sauce pan add ground beef, salt, chili powder, garlic and cumin. Enough water to cover meat. Bring to a boil. Simmer over medium low heat about an hour.
Then add 1/2 medium chopped onion, 1/2 medium chopped bell pepper continue cooking 20 or 30 more minutes.

For taquitos recipe: Heat oil in skillet. Cook corn tortillas, one at a time, in hot oil until soft, about 5 to 10 seconds; drain.

Strain liquid, then spoon 1 tablespoon of the beef meat in center of each tortilla Roll the tortilla around the beef filling into flute shape.

Use a toothpick to hold the tortilla in the flute shape. ("flauta" in Spanish)

Fry beef taquitos approximately 2-3 minutes or until tortilla holds its shape.

Remove the toothpicks and serve 2-3 taquitos on a plate.
Serving Artisian Sunset Salsa, sour cream and guacamole on the side.
